Baby Sitting Duty Tonight

I have some friends that are celebrating their 7th year wedding anniversary tonight and they have asked me to baby sit their two kids for them so that they can go out and have a nice dinner and then take in a movie. I’m happy to do that for them. We have been friends for a very long time and we always help each other out when we can. Besides the kids are good kids, very low maintenance, so it won’t be a hassle at all.

It’s Friday and I have no plans to do anything else so the least I can do is help out my friends so that they can have a nice night out on the town for their anniversary.

We Are Losing Light

This is the time of the year that we are quickly losing our precious day light. Soon we will have to set our clocks back one hour and we will be stuck in the dark even more. I hate the thought that summer will soon be over and we will be seeing the weather getting cooler and cooler with each passing day. Next thing you know it will be winter, then the holidays will be here and that is just plain depressing.

Hurricane Earl has put a “damper” on a lot of people’s Labor Day plans, what a way to end the summer!

Get this one. Paris has declared, after being arrested for possession of cocaine on Friday, that the purse in the limo that had the cocaine in it is not her purse.

Well, friends, tell me this. If you got a purse and your wallet is in it. Your lipstick is in it. Your credit cards with your name on them are in it, and a baggie containing 0.8 grams of cocaine with your fingerprints on the baggie are all in that purse. You tell me that it is not your purse? How does that work exactly? You going to go to court and tell that to the judge with a straight face?

So Paris Hilton goes partying in Las Vegas. Someone is stupid enough to crack the windows of the limo to let the smoke out. A cop smells the smoke and believes it to be marijuana, so he pulls over the limo to check it out.

Now the cop decides that since there is cocaine in her purse, he’s going to arrest her for possession. Boom. Down goes Paris. Again.

The girl must be a slow learner. She’s been through this before. She’s been in jail before. How many times do you gotta be locked up before you decide to either give up the dope or just do your partying at home?

Was probably the most beautiful day of the year today as the weather warmed up quite a bit and although there were some clouds in the air its remained near 70 degrees most the day. There are no doubt some extra clouds in the sky today but do not worry they are supposed to be there, lol.

In the heat of the moment sometimes we can make mistakes or rather decisions that we would not have been made if it was not in a high stress moment in time. I think we can all agree by this under standing because sometimes we do things that we would never have done in a normal state of mind but because there was a high amount of stress things were done differently.

Have you ever had a moment like this in your life? And have you done anything after wards to correct it or did you just let it go?

You get to an age when everything is different in life when you start to realize that the things that mattered to you no longer matter to you anymore. And that the things that you never knew or thought about become more important to you than anything else in the world. Becoming a parent was one of those times in my life and also finding the women that I married.

Believe it or not I am at that age when making others people lives happy and joyful is more fun to me and brings more joy to my life than me spending money or time on myself. I think and hope we all reach this stage in our lives because it is quite fun to go around helping those that matter to you most in life, besides yourself.

Never thought I would see the day

Max of Max Hardcore entertainment was convicted for selling hardcore adult videos threw the mail recently and as a result he may have to serve prison time. What this means is that any company selling videos that may be considered not up to community standards may be able to be prosecuted for selling them.

I am just now learning more about this conviction in a magazine and I wonder if he plans on appealing the verdict or what but right now there are a lot of places that sell videos of all types from sex to even what some community may consider to be less than its standards, scratching there heads and wondering if they are next on the list to be charged with this type of crime.

In some small towns in America like Mormon towns or other Church towns what is to stop them from passing similar laws and then the next thing you know people are getting locked up for selling videos that do not depict there god in a good light? When it comes to art it is like a god because it is in the eye of the beholder what is pretty or ugly and either you believe in it or you do not. So I never thought I would see the day in America where someone was locked up for selling art works or films that were not up to one communities standard in America because who knows what else is next.

What a waste of time money and resources

I heard recently that several states passed laws banning the sale of adult toys to adults. When I first heard about this I thought to myself why would an elected official want to pursue a law like this? Who would be offended enough at the sale of sex toys to adults want to ban it. And why is someone trying to tell me what I can and can not buy from my sexual pleasures.

How dare someone point there finger at any adult in this great country of ours that wants to buy a device for sexual pleasure and say your a bad person for buying devices like that, and the person selling you those devices should be locked up. To think that someone can buy an assault rifle but not a vibrator in America makes me sick and if we start locking people up for selling those toys to adults then this country is going backwards in my opinion. I hope the elected officials that tried to pass these laws are called out for the waste of time and tax payer funds trying to prosecute stores that sell adult toys.
