Thinking about a Pool Table

Once the kids are grown to the point they can respect a pool table in your home, make sure you have enough real space to put one in there. You have to measure for the size of the table plus enough clear space around it to allow for a cue stick. Remember, cue sticks are almost 5 feet long. So if the regulation size pool table is 5′ x 9′, you need to add 5 feet to each side for clearance. Basic math – the floor space you’ll need is 15′ x 19′ feet. That’s bigger than most living rooms, so measure before buying!
